Colleagues

Below are three of my fellow colleagues at Portage Northern. One teacher works in the Spanish and English department with me and the two others work in the English department. Each Thursday we have collaborative/cooperative teacher meetings. This means that as colleagues, we share our thoughts and lesson plans with one another. This is beneficial to students because the meetings bring differentiation into the classroom. 

Katie Sullivan
Ms. Sullivan has been working in the English department for five years. She also teaches British Literature and Spanish. Ms Sullivan attended Illinois State University.

Peg Elwood
Mrs. Elwood has been teaching for Protage Northern for over twenty years,\. Currently she is teaching British Literature and Creative Writing. Mrs. Elwood graduated from Augustana University and went on to get her Master's degree at Northern Illinois University

Anthony Lebarre
Mr. Lebarre has been teaching at Portage Northern for seven years. He is also teaching British Literature, but his major is in History and Social Studies. Mr. Lebarre graduated from Saint Xavier University.
